Colby Oliver grew up showing pigs in junior livestock shows where he met some great people and learned some big lessons. These experiences lead him to want to stay involved in the show pig industry and help others be a part of it as well.
Oliver Farms is a 7-sow operation in Welsh, Louisiana focusing on producing Duroc, Hampshires and Crossbreds for LSU, Texas majors, The Exposition and National Junior Summer Spectacular. Colby hopes to continue to grow his sow numbers while producing high-quality livestock with sound genetics. He also hopes to build lasting relationships with his customers and to help kids reach their goals in the show ring.
Colby is excited to be a part of The Debut and to have to opportunity to market his animals to a larger audience.
The Debut is a premier consignment auction platform that showcases new consignors, breeders or operations looking for a facelift or re-introduction to the market. The Debut auction is September 19.
