10 DAYS NEED 20LBS
I know 20 lbs is not much in 10 days but we have a cross born 9/16/17 that is a picky eater. He basically only likes his feed in water form. Once he gets down to the meal form he nibbles and quits. I have him on Sunglo 18g lo fat albs x 2 a day in soup form. We hit 213 last Wednesday and now still h...

Re: Indiana State fair results???? Several kicked out
Still screwing other kids out of prize or making the sale. These blackeyes, if they continue, will hurt the livestock show industry. Whether it's age DQ, Drug DQ, or other rule DQs then there needs to more than ban from showing at that show in the future. I would say a monetary penalty or even fraud...

Re: Indiana State fair results???? Several kicked out
If that is the case then why were they (gilts) allowed to show? I can see cost of drug testing every animal before show would not be cost effective but making sure birthdate and litters are verified before could be done. I know they take the prize money away but that just hurts the overall integrity...

4H Livestock Record is an app for the iPhone. We use it for barrows and ADG. It has places for feed, meds, and events on there to.

Texas State Fair Judge
I saw that Jim McCoy (Bloomingburg, OH) is the market barrow judge for Texas State Fair 2016. What kind of barrows he like? muscled, pretty, wide, etc?? Just trying to get an idea before purchasing barrows in April. Thanks.

Re: StandAlone Feed
I started using the StandAlone for Swine in June 2015. It is pricey but I seem to use less fat or at least don't have to use as much fat. Find a dealer and order the 5 gallon over buying the 1 or 2.5 gallon. It will be cheaper in the long run. Pigs love it when mixed with feed.
