Duroc Boars

I have a Redbone gilt from Shaffers that is pretty good in all areas except she need to be squared up on her rear two. What Duroc boar can correct the rear and maintain all the other areas? Thanks in advance.

As far as loading, we keep our trailer backed up and the kids load the pigs on and off of it every day to get them used to loading. They come out of the barn and load right up. May try feeding them in the trailer first time or two you try so they associate it with something good. Never tried any of ...

What I have seen judges refer to as "outside its skeleton" it is usually those hogs on the front end that has that bulldog look to them where it appears that there shoulders are setting outside there body. We have had this occur several times. The best thing that I have found is to spray it with apple cider vinegar.

Several years back I read on here where you could add sugar to the pigs feed at the show and then give water to make the sugar expand thus causing the muscle to pop. I believe there was even something about adding white corn syrup to the water. Has anyone tried this or know if it even would work?

how long to see results?

Have a group of pigs born April 3. Several of them have developed a hacking cough. Gave them Nuflor Gold last night. 1cc per 30 pounds per vet. How long til I should see improvements and should I give a second dose? They were wormed about 2 weeks ago with safeguard for 4 days.

We mix about a tablespoon of hair conditioner (Suave) and about a tablespoon of aloe in a 32 ounce spray bottle with water. Spray on and brush in. Works well for us.
