Re: Paylean Replacement

I don’t believe it’s the entire state. Yes the Ohio State Fair has and a handful of counties so far. There will be more to come. Fitter 52 is a very good replacement for ractopamine HCl (active ingredient in in Paylean). Like above poster mentioned Fitter 52 does not increase growth rate like Paylea...

Re: Help finishing show pigs

The answer is no. Pigs (or any other animal) have daily nutrient requirements that must be met. When those are not met the pig starts losing muscle, fat cover and freshness. They get “stale”. Depth Charge and Ultra Full are not designed to meet those requirements. Those products are designed for fil...

May have an ulcer. Three new Honor Show Chow Showpig feeds that contain technology to help with this. Or, add High Octane Alleviate.

Re: Help finishing show pigs

It sometimes takes some time to burn fat etc... depending upon how much fat is needed to burn. For the first pig if you want to speed up the process switch to 2 lb per day Fitter 52 and 1 lb of Fitter 35. However, keep a very close eye on his total body condition. Fitter 52 and Fitter 35 don’t just ...

Re: KGB-- Feeding Champion Drive and Fitter 35 together?

Yes. There are several ways to feed it. If you are trying to build muscle without burning fat, then add High Octane Heavy Wright at the same time.

Somewhere around a 2:1 ratio (1 lb Fitter 52 and 1/2 lb Heavy Weight).

Re: Fat Neck and Gut

I did respond to your PM. Fitter 52 is not going to cause an increase in weight gain. (It is not Paylean)

Most of the fat burning will be around the head and neck in that time frame

Re: KGB-- Feeding Champion Drive and Fitter 35 together?

If you switch out Champion Drive for Fitter 35 you probably won’t have time. However if you switch out Champion Drive for Fitter 52 it will probably work about the way you desire.

Re: Which feed this year?

The new feeds launched April 2019 contain several pieces of technology to help the pig’s digestive tract: Ambitine - supports gut (small intestine) integrity (villi) TASCO - helps the pig deal with stress (heat stress but not just heat stress) MCFA - proprietary medium chained fatty acids. The part ...

Re: Which feed this year?

By the way, because we (Purina, Honor Show Chow) have great supplements that work does NOT mean you have to feed them for the HSC Showpig feeds to work. That is ridiculous. The same guy that designed and formulated the High Octane supplements is the same PhD nutritionist that designed and formulated...

Re: Need a little advise (Paylean)

It actually does more for the pig’s top. However it does work on the rear end as well. Paylean works a little faster on the rear end.

Re: Need a little advise (Paylean)

I’m wondering why you stopped Champion Drive when you began to add Heavy Weight? You can feed both together.

They do NOT counteract one another. Every metabolic process takes calories (energy) including muscle synthesis. Heavy Weight actually makes Champion Drive work better.

Re: Need to Soften Top line

I would add High Octane Heavy Weight. Start at 4 oz per day. If you are short on days about every 3-4 days increase by 4 oz until you are feeding 12 oz per day. If she will eat all the feed (adding Heavy Weight in addition to what you are feeding now, then do that). If she starts leaving feed, then ...

Re: Holding Question

Some things to keep in mind; When pigs are restricted in growth, and then recover or placed back on full feed (whatever the reason they grew slower than normally) they experience compensatory growth. This simply means they will very quickly gain all the weight they should have and then some. So, if ...

Re: Need help with a feeding plan for last 60 days

I haven’t seen an e-mail, but basically you need to make room for the extra weight gain. Just remember it doesn’t need to be fill out grow as fast as possible weight gain when fed Paylean. Paylean will build muscle without the pig gaining 3 lb per day. But, you probably need to leave room for at lea...
