If they are not even remotely the same What are the differences?

Are we losing something going to the grind and mix and should we be staying on the 409?

<t>I don't want to come across argumentative but from a price comparison standpoint you would have to waste a lot of feed and give up a lot of efficiency here in our area.<br/> <br/> Pelleted 409's are costing us $24 a bag or $48/cwt.<br/> <br/> The first grind and mix ration (from kgb a.k.a. <t>Yes you could have easily been in or near the urethra just barely in the vulva on a gilt. Remember you can not use too much lube when breeding gilts. Secondly, remember as you insert the rod maintane that 45 degree angle until you feel resistence and you get to the cervix. Lastly, remember on a t...

We use a 20 ga. x 3/4 inch. The best place to give any shot that is delivered intermuscularly is in the post anterior region of the neck. Behind the ear in front of the shoulder.

<t>I would bet the farm that she has not pooped yet LOL!!!!!!<br/> <br/> If she will eat at all try some sort of fiber, rolled oats, bran, canned pumpkin, something. We are using the 209 - 409 program and of course we have just started on it, still feeding the 209 but the pigs are really hitting it hard and look really good on it. They hardly missed a beat from weaning on monday to today, 26 pigs in one pen cleaned up 25 lbs of feed in 24 hours.

<t>Cost wise it is relatively reasonable if you consider your gilt goes off feed and loses weight. Like Kathy said it is about $20 a sow. Secondly from the guys that have done this when the gilts are on the matrix their appetites are unbelievable. One guy said he could not feed his gilt enough, she ...

<t>I agree with everyone else, you did the right thing by inducing her. Everyday that goes by those pigs are getting bigger, increasing the odds for a difficult delivery. Inducing her does not guarantee a simple delivery but at least you are no longer prolonging it.<br/> <br/> I too have worked on c...

Re: NEED HELP RIGHT AWAY - LATE GILT

My daughters gilt was due 1/23 (guaranteed). After reading many posts I gave her 2 cc of Estrumate on 1/25 at 3:30 am. It is now 7:00 am 1/26 and she is still doing nothing. She did get real restless between 12:30 and 2:00 am (up and down, nesting, and grinding her teeth) but then settled down and ...

If you want to mix it yourself I heard to buy a 200 ml bottle of iron and remove 100 ml then add 50 ml pen and 50 ml Draxxin. Others might be able to advise you better on this. HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is why you should not believe everything you read on the internet. Hopefu...
