Re: Kid Goat or Lamb milk replacer
Sumo, etc. are higher in fat content by a lot. There is nothing wrong with using those milk replacers, but in general the cost is the same for the major brand supplements that are geared more towards show animals.

Hog Doc is correct.

Re: Redesigned Hulk Feeders

Are you saying the long version only has one anti-tip clip?

Re: training our pigs
We give them a couple of weeks to acclimate and then start training. In the winter, we have shows 3-4 weeks after we get our animals. If you are looking to be competitive you want your animal to have endurance. the sooner you start training the easier it will be to build that endurance up.

It's also important to note that if you end up using this method you should start practicing it before you get to the show so your pig is used to it.

Re: Rear legs
If the legs are set that way there is nothing you can do. That is what we call a structure issue. The best thing you can do is learn from it and try to read it in piglets when you go to select for your next project.

Re: framing and maturing
This more than likely referring to letting your pig develop into their body as they grow at a younger age, as opposed to pushing feed hard young and having big gutted pigs early. Generally speaking you would have a heavier framed pig that could handle heavier weights as they are older. This may also...
