I have a question for all of you. What breeds do you have to cross to get a pig with ears that don't stick straight up like a Hamp or York but don't drop down like a Spot, Poland, Chester, or Landrace. Does anyone know if you can bring December or March boars and gilts to IL State Fair? Also how many Poland China Boars and gilts do they normally have? Who is judging that show this year?

I personally recommend shavings. That's what I use and that always seems to work for me.
