Vaccines

Does anyone still make anything like parapleuro-shield-p-be anymore? Or does anyone make a vaccine like it?

Triple B

Anybody make it out to Triple B’s boar viewing this weekend? Really interested to know how their Duck Dynasty board and Huckleberry looked.

What is going on with their website? Anybody have any info. Try to visit his page several times over the last couple of weeks and all I get is an error code that says I'm forbidden from accessing the website. Crazy

Thanks. Never knew what he was off of. Seems like he is in a lot Watje's stuff, especially Sky's the Limit. All on the dam's side.

Does any know the pedigrees of Triple X and Double Cross? I know they are not all that old but I still cannot find any breeding info on them. Thanks.

Skipping cycle?

Can the flu or any other sickness cause a gilt to skip a cycle or be later than usual? Had one get sick and was on/off feed for about a week but it back to normal now. However she did miss her cycle and is about 7 days late. This is a first for me.

Re: Questions about Paylean

HogDoc this is so true. In the past we have achieved the same gains at 4.5 grams as we have with 9 grams with far fewer adverse reactions, including less stress and being easier on the joints and hoofs.

Anybody been by to see these guys lineup? Both Prime and Endless look impressive and their pedigree is very intriguing and promising. Just wondering if anybody had any thoughts on them.

PEDv at Georgia Jr. National Livestock Show

If you were at the Georgia Jr. National livestock show last week, tests have come back positive for the PEDv virus. This just came out a few hours ago. One sample taken from the scales came back negative earlier in the week but other samples taken directly from pigs exhibiting the symptoms later in ...

medicated feed question

For those who would know is it ok to feed two different feeds that have two different medications in them? Now I know not to mix the feeds together but could you for instance feed one feed that has CTC/Denagard in the morning and then feed a different feed that contains Lincomycin in the afternoon? ...

Re: Sure Champ or TrueGlo?

Thanks HogDoc. Hoping you would weigh in. We have had problems with our pigs bringing home "something" from shows the last couple of years and getting sick. It always takes us a while to get them back on track. Will TrueGlo help keep our pigs healthy? Or healthier?

Sure Champ or TrueGlo?

Which one is better or are they pretty much the same? Been using HSC product the last couple of years, power fuel I think, and was just checking to see to there was a better product out there.

Re: San Angelo

I must be living under a rock and down here in Southeast Georgia it can feel that way sometimes. Without making anybody upset could someone fill me in on what happened? Sounds like it may be the kinda of the same thing that happened down here a couple of years ago.
