I had a friend go through the same thing last year when his gilts turned out really well and he got $800 per gilt and plus a pig off of them if you have worked with this breeder continually and he has treated you fair I would say somewhere in the 750-1000 is a fair price for a gilt of breeding age. ...

50/50 is the width of your trailer split in half say 7ft wide trailer u get 3.5ft wide pens so a 60/40 is 60% of the trailer width and 40% of the width so u have some bigger pens and smaller pens from what I see once they get up to 250 or so u can comfortably get one pig per pen. So you can use pg600 to induce cycling then start charting from there if I understand right and do I need to be checking twice daily on numbers? The discharge is a thick creamy discharge . I have seen it before in some other gilts cycling and my father normally breeds by those signs and does pretty ...

I am still charting my gilts every morning but was wondering if when the numbers start to change if I need to do 2 times a day because I have 2 gilts that seem to be cycling because they have discharge but both of them had it at a higher number. Thank you rway I'm charting all my gilts now so when time to breed in October thru December I will have a better chance and knowledge of the numbers I missed some last breeding by signs and that is why I got the draminski

I have had good luck with Moore body from moor mans it gives a little weight gain also had luck with depth charge if they eat pelleted feed I usually do beet pulp and moore body mix from an earlier stage and wetting the feed also
