Sunglo and Purina
Does anyone know the Sunglo equivalent to Honor Show First Wean 319? I normally feed 319 at first and has been doing us very well. This year my daughter will be getting her hog from a guy who is a Sunglo dealer and I don't want to hurt his feelings? Thanks for the help!!!

COVID-19 affecting shows
Is anyone else's shows getting cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak? In Hawaii they cancelled all shows for the year. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for creating some other ways to still continue the projects. Is there anyone out there creating any kind of creative types of shows to repla...

Show day feeding
I was wondering what kind of strategies you guys use to feed on show day. We normally feed normal ration about 2-3 hours before the show. Should I be doing something different?

Re: Feeding starter
We decided to take a chance with the smaller pig as she was the nicer animal. We ended up making weight but it was very stressful for us. I don't think we'll will do that again. On Maui hogs that are available are limited. We kind of just take what we can get. I am gonna try to see if it would be wo...

Feeding starter
My daughter had a pig that we just showed this month that ended up just making the minimum weight at 190 lbs. We struggled to put on weight from the beginning. Beginning weight in March was 48 lbs and I am pretty sure that I made a mistake by not feeding starter in the start. I started feeding Purin...

Re: Quick topic
I will see if I can get some heavy weight. Do you think I have a chance to make weight with what I'm doing now? Or do I need to do something else? I just increased the 809 to seven pounds a day. I will be switching to 909 soon.
