Our fair is not allowing us to have show feed with lysin in it anymore. If we want to use it we have to have a vet prescription. Does anyone know any different feeds that will work just as well without the lysin in it? Or should I get the script?

i seen in the video the big belted hog is walking stiff legged. i would recommend if possible to get a joint lotion and rub that on them when its lying down and bend his legs to get him moving them better. hope this helps!

in the past to help with covering her ribs i have used high octane ultra full it is working well for my hogs that needed cover and filled out and for the "jiggle" keep feeding the paylean as recommended hope this helps!

if you still have time i recommend taking your hog on a bumpy trailer ride maybe 1,1/2 to 2 weeks before your show to put her in heat so she will show okay for you

he doubled his weight he usually would gain in a week so instead of 10lbs a week he gained 20lbs and i added 3 eggs and 1 box of regular vanilla cake mix. also add water so it will mix

i feed moormans with usually honor supplements i have used high octanes power fill and it helps your hog still have the good look without it looking bad for holding. i also added paylean to keep up his muscle content so he wouldnt look stale. he ended up taking first overall for his breed class. hop...

ive had the same issue in the past the thing i found best was using purinas supplement ultra full. i seen a great improvement on my hog that year. hope this helps

i needed to add quick weight and one thing i found to help is adding powdered high fat milk and eggs and cake mix. i mixed it all together and it helped them gain weight and eat their other food better for quick weight gain

i have 117 days until my fair which leaves a lot of room to do things with feed but i have a 70 to 75 lb gilt that is an amazing looking hog but she is gaining a lot of weight and i was wondering if there is anything that i could do now or should i wait until closer to fair date?
