Always read and follow label directions. You can find them on the internet pretty easily. Most are 5 and 2 weeks prefarrow.

I agree, but if I don't say anything you will think there is only one person on the internet that believes that.

<t>How heavy is she? How many pigs is she penned with? What/how much is she eating?<br/> <br/> I had one getting beat up at the feed bunk and not coming into heat. As soon as I fed her by herself and PG600 she was in heat within a week. She was only penned with 4 others, but she must have been getti...

<t>Piggy is dead on, but with that said it takes less than 1/0th of what he tosses out to get the sow bred. Darin advised me that I could use a mature boar AM and PM for a couple days with no major harm done. The most I have done is PM, AM/PM, AM/PM, AM. It worked out for me. All three pigs stuck wi...

Most people i run into are so sure there is no such thing as false heats in pigs. Sounds like most of your friends don't know what they are talking about. I have five sows and I have seen it in my three years. It is pretty common to have a sow show light heat during pregnancy. This is why you shoul...

<t>Of course. You see, when a daddy pig meets a mommy pig...If you are only out there to feed twice a day and clean pens as necessary you could have easily missed it. I have noticed most pigs like to screw right after they fill their belly. This would make it even easier to miss bc you are already i...

If you really want them to go the first time just mix a little epsom salts in with their feed. I got a little carried away the first time and it got pretty messy. Just a couple dashes gets the job done.

I have used Shaffers Goldrush, Showtime Sires and Prairie State multiple times with great results. Used Moyers for the first time this year; semen was good, gilts both settled, and the customer service was great. Same for me, haven't used Moyer's yet. I forgot, Darin has a good blog on Swinebarn th...

TURN THE CAPS LOCK OFF it's obnixious. In addition, nobody likes to be screamed at...

They will usually stand with sore feet or legs, but they seem to dance around a lot.

Anybody noticed a lot of red on them? I talked to a local guy and he said he had seen quite a bit. I looked at mine harder and saw about half of them have some red on their blaze.

That changes that post around quite a bit!!! FYI - I would stop using a boar if he throws too many pigs with white on them!

That works great on the white spirals. It also helps you not shoot air in the cervix. I am not in love with it when you use the foam rods.

I have a litter of his on the ground right now, but they are only about 10 days old. Too bad I have 6 barrows and 2 gilts. A couple locals go down to Duncan, maybe I can find a barrow from the litter to head down there. I didn't hear the news from NBS, that is a good thing.

I guess that is my answer right there. Maybe that is why they didn't show him to Darin to do a boar review.
