Which Berk to use?
I have a February Berk gilt that is out of Black Oak at Shaffer's. She has good bone and depth of body and good WDA. She really needs to be blown apart more . What Berk boar will give me more width all the way through. I'm looking to breed her for either a Feb or March litter. Thanks in advance

When to Induce
I have a crossbred gilt that was natural bred on May 5 and again on May 6. Her due date would be this Saturday or Sunday. My question is would you go by the first breeding or the second breeding when considering inducing?

Bear 84 gilt
I have a gilt (Bear84 x Stick This) she is bigger framed and has very good muscling and base width. She could use more rib and bone. Would I be better off to go with a pure on her for first litter or would cross be ok and what boars would be good to add those things to her offspring? Thanks!

cleaning pens
Can I use lime in my dirt pens with the pigs still in them? And is there anything else I can put in them to help with moisture and somewhat sterilizing the pens while the pigs are still in the pens?
Re: surechamp
KGB she has plenty of muscle shape, in fact I am trying to soften her up. She doesn't hardly consume five pounds a day broken up into two feedings. I have had her on 16% high fat and have recently reduced down to a 14%, 5% fat and adding about 8ozs of oats and about three oz. of Heavy Weight per fee...
surechamp
Can you feed surechamp cattle.to pigs? I need something to increase appetite and can't get surechamp swine in my area. Thanks!

Re: Bolder Sprung
Mary-Okie she is fairly wide chested and square to the ground. I'm thinking she could have more turn to the fore rib back behind shoulders. Is there any way to do that?

question for KGB
I have a gilt and two barrows that weigh from 140 to 160. I have them on an 18percent 5 percent fat meal show feed. I started adding Heavy Weight about two weeks ago. I add about 2 ounces per feeding twice a day. I also add probios once a day. They seem to have looser that normal stool. Do you think...

At a show last week the judge commented that a gilt of ours, that weighs 150, needs to be bolder sprung. Is he referring to rib shape? How do I get her bolder? Thanks in advance!
