Re: Need help/advice!!!!!!!!!!
during the "c" section did you notice any issues with her uterus? A previous post stated the gild behaved similar, jumped up and died. we had almost the same behavior in a gilt last year. we took her to the local vet for a c section. 12 live although none lived. she had a twisted uterus. s...

Re: 62 days after AI gilt swollen
We have seen this as well on gilts. Not as full swelling as true heat. Mostly causes me to loose sleep . Doesn't bother the gilts We have still gotten 11-12 piglets from the ones that have done this. Wonder if it is a litter size thing? Thoughts?

Re: More on Matrix
yes. i have been spraying it near the nose. gilt #2 tried to ride up on #1 and is very aggressive with nosing #1's flanks. #1 seems more swelled this morning than last night. still no discharge. they both seam to lock up then lose interest and walk around. ( day 5 from Matrix)

I used matrix on both our gilts. they have cycled at leased 2x on their own prior to the matrix. the last dose was Sunday 10/12/14. It has been 4 days and no standing heat. what have any of you experienced on time line. we do not have a boar.
