I would suggest the show, not the sale. Get a really good idea of the hogs as you can really see them get out and about instead of just walk turn walk in a small area a sales ring. Plus you get input from the judge as well.

We have a fair where you can't have an oil based spray on show day. It can be used leading up to the fair but on show day no oil containing products can be sprayed onto the pig. I'm sure there's other fairs that have this rule as well wondering what product or what is everyone using that works well?...
