Re: Sure Champ
We have fed it for years to our show steers and heifers. Keeps them on feed, increases their appetite and with helps to grow a healthy hair coat. Feeding it this year to pigs - have had issues with congestion and on and off again with eating - so hard to judge the effectiveness. Barrows seem to stil...

Re: Help with feed
I have a light barrow that we were worried about weight. We added Heavy Weight about 6 wks. ago and he has been gaining between 2 and 2.6 lbs/day. I am sold on that stuff for putting the weight on. We switched off the 20% to 18 pretty quick and are now on 16%. We got him at the end of October and he...

Re: Surechamp feedback

Feeding this year for first time to pigs. I have a young barrow that I am needing to push. Feeding him Sure cham...

How much to feed new show pig
Recently purchased our show pig. We are hand feeding everyday and he is eating 1 lb in morning and 1 lb in evening. Weighing about 40 lbs.. We are new with pigs. I know with show steers they should be eating 3% of their body weight a day in feed. Is there such a formula or percentage for show pigs? ...

Anyone in Texas feed Full O Pep show feed?
My local feed store is pushing Full O Pep show feeds. We fed it a couple of years ago to show goats, and I was not impressed. We are showing hogs this year. Anyone had any luck with the show pig line?

Show feed other than Purina in South Central Texas?
My daughter will be showing a pig this year. Haven't shown pigs in several years, had moved to steers and heifers. Looking for a good show pig feed other than Purina that is available in South Central Texas. Nothing against Purina, just don't like the person that carries it in our area

Are you drenching your pigs to get it into them. Our pigs would not drink it the last time we tried to use it. Any suggestions.
