Re: RE:Hanging feeder height?
We hang ours at a height that is just right for them to get there head in without being too low or so high that they have to step up in it to be able to eat comfortably. We move it up as the pigs grow.

Sow vaccination
I have a gilt and a 3rd parity sow that I bred natural last week. I did not get a chance to vaccinate either before breeding. Should I do anything now or just wait and give pre-farrowing vaccines? Thanks for any advice!

She never seemed like she was in alot of pain but was definately having some contractions. Still no pigs but she seems...

Boar suggestions on Dropdown gilt
Have a really wide based wide topped dropdown gilt that I am planning to breed. She is fairly moderate in frame and would like to make pigs alittle bigger without giving up the overall width she has. She is out of a pure york so she should be stress negative. Thanks for any input.

Extra Pop on showday
A few years back I had read on here about feeding sugar and corn syrup on show day and then giving water before going to the ring for extra muscle pop. Something about the water reacting to the sugar . Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks
