Hamp and cross boars
Have an old line hamp gilt that is large framed and needs a shot more muscle and base width. What hamp boar would fit the bill? Also have a pure york sow that I want to cross. she has produced 2 litters that have done ok would like to breed for more muscle def and base width, any suggestions?

how far along bred are gilts when they first start swelling before delivery. have one due April 17 and it appears that her vulva is starting to swell. nothing like you see when they are ready to deliver but it is definateley getting larger. is this normal 3 weeks before farrowing?
