New 19 feeds ?
I was wondering what the research was telling when you went away from the pellets and made them all into meal form. I always felt they cleaned the pellets up better, had less waste, and less dust and coughing. Still feeding it just wondering why the change.

Re: Babies or no babies
To me it looks like she bagged up but it doesn't look like she nursed. Could have been pseudo pregnancy or they transfered litter to another sow.

Re: World Pork Expo Cancellation
To me canceling expo is very precautionary, but if that is what it takes to keep that virus out of the US i am all for it. If that bug would make it here you probably could forget about showing any pigs for a long time. Hopefully it will only be for one year.

Re: 2 Lame pigs and one with a cough
Those two breeders you bought from should be ashamed for letting pigs off their farm who arent healrhy. I have never let a pig off my farm that i wouldn't have bought myself. They give everyone who does a good job a bad name. I cant help you with the lame pigs, but the one with the cough you might t...

Re: Heavy structured cross boar
Every stud has something that fits that description. What you have to do is find the stud that you want to work with and within your price range. I have a litter of chainbreakers from southern gold that would fit that description plus some.

Looks like mites to me. Givea shot of ivomec and change your bedding. And it should clean up in a couple days.

619 question
I was wondering about your new 619 product. I have a very heavy muscled pig who is currently on 519 the i am wondering which feed i should switch to next. He is currently between 50 and 60 pound. Would he be better on 619 or 719. He could also use some cover and i am probably going to start putting ...

Re: 2 boars a.i.
I have used 2 boars of separate breeds on a few crosses. Ususlly it is when a sow stays in heat longer than usual and i am out of the original boar. What usually comes out is 90% from one of the boars. If it is from different breeds it is usually easy to tell the difference.

Re: Breeding cross sow with opb
To get berk appearing crossbreds try x-ray vision at Southern gold sires. As for the colors of those other 2 breeds with you sow, it all depends how strong the york genes are in your sow. They will come out white with very little color, or they could come out looking like the father, or something in...
