Re: Hanging feeders for show
Thanks for the reply's. I have talked to Troy Walker and looked at the Big Sherm Feeders. Thanks Cody but they are out of our price range. Leaning towards the ones Troy sells. But would like to look at the elevator cup feeders. Anyone know where to get them? How do they hold up? Cost?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Pen Together?
If you had two barrows from different litters to feed for your show would you put them in the same pen or keep them in different pens? Pens are not next to each other so no nose conatct possible. Will be hand feeding. Just wondering if they would do better with a buddy or better if seperated.

Sand For Pens
What kind of sand is used for pig pens. Fill sand or 1/4 minus. 1/4 minus is cheaper but not sure if it will be ok on their feet.

Re: Gilt farrowed not wanting to eat
If she has not had a bowl movement since farrowing than you need to get her out of the crate and take her for a walk. Try to get her moving, even pissed off. Had a sow this year that I ended up pressing a spray nossel with low water pressure up to her anus and turning it on, then walked her and repe...

Still births

Babies were fully developed, looked good just appeared as the cords came detached too soon. They were ...
