Ours would of been 300 if I let him in 6 months grew steady wouldnt call him fast but he just kept going. I didnt want him to get to heavy because he didnt have a ton of frame. But he had a ton of bone really wide deep with a massive top and plenty of muscle.

If you can find a boar about to go to slaughter or just a cheap one it is well worth having around. My gilts wouldnt stand worth a crap and once I got a boar its a night and day difference theres no question when they are standing and when they are not.

We had 2 bang this barrows this year they both were extremely wide, heavy muscled with a ton of center body. One won its class at our state fair the other was reserve middle weight barrow at our county fair. I was extremely pleased with them.

<t>To answer your first 2 question it depends on the pig, if you have one that you think is going to be hard to put cover on then I would put them on fat and filler. Dont over do it but enough to help put some cover on but keep growing good. <br/> <br/> I think milk replacer is a waste of money will...

The grizz consistently puts monster bone and body on them. Ive seen a lot of moonshine pigs that are a little frail and and lack the structure that the grizz puts in them.

If you hit them with pg600 to get them going you should be able to breed them on their second cycle. I would give them a shot soon though or your window will be gone to get them bred for that time frame.

<t>Not sure on warfare but Ive seen plenty of warcrimes litters that have been extremely deep. We have some gilts with warfare on the momma side and they are some of the best gilts Ive had. Ive yet to see a bad one out of these lines yet but most of these I havent seen mature but as little pigs ever...

Mary-okie I would have to agree with you our rondo gilt is very correct, cool design just needs bone and maybe be a little wider but she just balances up so nice.
