I have a couple questions on how to set up a flush pan system. First of all how much pitch should I have in the system? How do you get the pitch? Second it came with this auger with a dead motor. Is the auger necessary? Where do you get a new motor? It looks like it may say Dayton Gearmotor???

Re: Setting up flush pans
The stands should have legs that are taller on one end. This is the front or head end. The pan will natural drain to the back or tail end. If your floor is level it should drain on its own. The auger is helpful to get the solids out. I use a cordless drill to turn it.
