Laird Open House

Anybody that went to Laird's open house, can you tell me what you thought of Snap Back? Thanks!

They ran him off the trailer into a big open grass field. He is a young hog. Seemed well built. Very hard to compare to some of their other hogs due to his young age / smaller size. His picture on their website is exactly what he looked like. He moved well. It should be noted that he was shown quickly due to an incoming storm that night and under some additional lighting he may be much better, it is hard to study the all black ones from a distance, you kind of need to be right up on him to study muscle, etc.

The York boars were all pretty similar to me, all of them were young. Beyond and Visionary were nice in the cross, but out of my price range. Although I would have to say I liked Anarchy a lot. He is a pure Hampshire, but had mass and sixe that made him comparable to a lot of crosses out there.
