slipping my pig

Post by Stxshower13 » Thu Oct 18, 2018 3:37 pm

I recently just got my show pig, she weighs about 30 to 40 pounds. I plan on showing her for a show that happens in February. I wanted to know if I can start feeding her regular feed but slopped? The reason why I want to start slop already is because I want her to expand a little from the sides. Is it oaky to start slopping already?

Sure, there are a lot of people who start slopping from the beginning.

wetting your feed to make it a slop. It helps the pig consume more in quicker amount of time. Versus dry feed that needs to be chewed.
