Is there a preferred feeding Regimen for the week leading up to the show? What about excersise?

Yes, but remember that pigs can be different. Very different at times. So you may find yourself having 4 pigs and feeding 4 different diets. Also remember not worry a great deal about weight gain that last week unless the pig is overweight....way overweight.

Pigs will lose weight during transportation to the show. The longer the distance and the warmer the weather the more weight they will lose. Realistically, you expect at least 6 lbs (that's normal gut fill for a pig) unless you have been severly restricting feed intake. So, don't starve the pig that final week. Because unexpectedly you will lose more than pounds.

Exercise - almost forgot. The final week should be like the 2 - 3 weeks prior. (That means you should have started to exercise long before that). But, in theory build up so that the pig can walk about 45 minutes at a time without getting tired. When they get tired they start squealing, heading for the gate or a corner, and become beligerant. If you've spotted these pigs in the show ring, more than likely they haven't been exercised (walked) enough at home.
