Adding cover

Post by Justinlee54 » Sun Dec 20, 2015 2:24 pm

Is it best to use fat products (heavy weight) or use the Power Fuel product to add cover? Also do you need to drop the protein of their base feed to achieve adding cover?

Adding cover is just making the pig fatter. Sounds like "duh" I know, but sometimes it's not that simple. Genetics can play a huge role. But energy left over after meeting the maintenance and growths needs is laid down as body fat. Long story short I would use Heavy Weight on pigs and Power Fuel on ruminants.
