kgb ADG help

Post by jackson013 » Fri Jul 07, 2017 10:24 pm

kgb,

We currently have 20 days til our fair and our gilt is sitting at 220. Currently feeding 7 lbs 809, 4 oz heavy weight and 8 oz champion drive. Current ADG is 2.2.

Trying to reach 275, is it possible to get her to 2.75 ADG?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, increase Heavy Weight to 8 oz per day, and 3-4 days after increase to 12 oz day. The feeding rate for Champion Drive is 1 lb per day. Decrease 809 by the same amount use increase. And if you really want to increase ADG add High Octane Paylean 900 at 1 oz per day.

Thank you! I also have a barrow that is in the same boat. I have been hesitant to add a whole lot of heavy weight as he already has plenty condition. He is currently at 218 and eating 7lbs 809 and 8 oz of champion drive, 2oz heavy weight. Is there a way to increase adg while burning off some condition with only 20 days?

Paylean is the only thing that does that.
