I have a gilt and we took her to a jack pot show this weekend and we were told we needed to soften her up. she is 100# eating 4 lb 909 a day what should I do ? I was think about adding some powerfuel .

At that size she needs 5 lb per day.

From 100 - 150 lbs feed 5.5 to 6 lbs per day

From 150 lbs up feed 6 lb per day

To soften add Heavy Weight, not Power Fuel. Power Fuel is 31% fat, and Heavy Weight is 70% fat. Start Heavy Weight at 4 oz per day. In 4-5 days increase to 8 oz per day, and in another 4-5 days increase to 12 oz per day.

Mix the Heavy Weight with enough water to make a milk shake like consistency and then add to the 909.
