When would the best time to use fitter 52? Is it something you would use the last couple of weeks to firm up a show pig, or would you feed it for a longer-term?

Yes, the final 10 - 14 days. It works very rapidly. You might want to have the pigs just a little juicy (fat) prior to feeding Fitter 52.

KGB:

So what feed like two pounds of fitter 52 with like 3 lbs of purina 709 towards the end of the project to burn fat and hold weight gain? What would be your rate of gain with something like that? I have a hog this might be perfect for so I am just trying to get an idea. Could you also use this instead of Paylean to get more muscle on a hog? Sorry for all the questions, but I am just trying learn about this new feed and I have already told my feed rep to order me a bag.

Absolutely none. We launched it at World Pork Expo, It went on price lists for first time June 4th and they should be able to get whatever amount they want.

Who are the dealers?

Provision partners, and Marathon Feeds are the dealers. Can I feed paylean with it?

would you want to use Fitter 52 with Paylean?? Would that be too much?? I have a barrow that needs SHAPE...he is very thick but needs definition! Needs his belly tightened up as well! :)
We have 25 days he is about 230lbs

You can feed Paylean with Fitter 52 if you desire. However, to do what you want you can probably feed Fitter 52 without Paylean to get done what you need.

Also, 2 lb Fitter 52 and 3 lb of feed is overkill on Fitter 52. The feeding rate is 8 to 16 oz per day. Feeding 2 lb Fitter 52 will burn fat in 3-4 days. I do not recommend feeding it like that. If you need to slow growth and burn fat/build muscle then feed Fitter 35 at 3 lb per day by itself. You can add 8 oz of Depth Charge if you like that will produce about a 0.25 - 0.35 lb/day gain.

I do not. I live near Kansas City so I’m not familiar with dealers in Michigan. However if you go to Purinamills.com and click on Buy, and enter your 5 digit zip code all the dealers in your area will be presented with contact information.

Has anyone found this anywhere in Indiana or Michigan? Called one dealer and they advised they didn't even have a SKU for it and didn't know if they could get it.

It appeared on their price list on June 4th. The sku number is found there (just like all the other HSC and Purina products).

The code number for Fitter 52 is 3004771-205. I checked today and we have been shorting dealers due to demand selling more than we previously made). That is being rectified, and dealers should received the product this week.
