Rib fill

Post by mict71 » Tue Jul 24, 2018 8:50 pm

I have a heavy muscle gilt who looks the best after she just ate a full meal after awhile she gets to be quite flat in her rib. My question is what is the best way of feeding her right before she goes into the ring to give her that full appearance to give her a fighting chance because she is going to be showing in a lighter weight class. She is currently eating 4 pounds of 709, 8 oz fitter52, 1 pound of power fill, and payleen. Show is in a week.

I suggest starting Depth Charge now. Really 2 weeks is much better. It takes time to work. The rib expands to a greater extent over time. Just feeding it at the show will only do so much.

Start now at 8 oz per day (4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon). If need increase by 4 to 8 oz/day in 3/4 days.
