What feed should we start with?

Post by applefam » Fri Feb 28, 2020 10:24 pm

We will be bringing home pigs April 11 for Labor Day Show. Going to be looking at pigs born no later than Feb 1. Will have to feed in self feeder. Also any supplements we should start? We usually add what we need to at the end to push or hold. We are assuming no Paylean this year because another local show has just said no Paylean.

The reason I ask is that not everyone one of our Showpig feeds is offered on every market. So, start the pigs with 1 bag per pig of either 319 or 519. Whichever is available in your area.
