Flattening out top

Post by TEGG21 » Thu Jul 22, 2021 11:18 am

Got a Barrow that is looking pretty good. Have been feeding Depth Charge and Ultra Full and seeing noticeable differences so far in about 3 weeks. My question now is I would like to flatten his top a little and get a deeper grove. He has also been getting 1lb / day of Champion Drive for the same 3 weeks as the DC and UF (along with show feed). Can I / Should I increase the Champion Drive or go with something different? As of today, we are 29 days sway from weigh in.

You can feed more Champion Drive if you want. I have fed 2-3 lb/day in the past. I just wanted / needed more top etc....

Also to “flatten” (I’m assuming the pig is a little high topped) try mixing either Absorbine or Therma Flex with water half and half (half water half Absorbine/Therma Flex) and spray the pig’s top twice per day.
