We have been using the Honor 209 and then the 409. Does a really good job.

Don't know where you can get the Honor here. We use Sunglo S-803 now and am really happy with it. We used Moormans for several years with good results, but the pigs seem to prefer the Sunglo.

209 is designed for pigs starting at 12 lbs up to 35 lbs. You can start 409 at 25 lbs in body weight.

Thank you kgb, my next question, how long do you feed the 409. I am switching over to Honor this year from ShowTec so I will be asking you for lots of help throughout the year.

The feeding directions say 25 to 50 lbs. But, you can go to our Showpig Grower at about 40 lbs.

But, you can skimp IF the pigs are healthy by feeding 209 from 12 to 20 lbs, and 409 from 20 to 35 lbs. But, again the pigs need to have a high health status.

We are using the 209 - 409 program and of course we have just started on it, still feeding the 209 but the pigs are really hitting it hard and look really good on it. They hardly missed a beat from weaning on monday to today, 26 pigs in one pen cleaned up 25 lbs of feed in 24 hours.
