Champion Drive vs Paylean

Post by gobigorgohome » Sat Jan 02, 2016 1:50 pm

My daughter's barrow started out very heavy muscled. We have had to push him by feeding Heavy Weight for 2-3 months now. Our show is in 21 days, he still needs all the weight he can gain and I am worried he may get a little too soft at the end. We also started him on Lubrisyn about 2 wks ago. I am worried about paylean making him too tight and affecting his movement. Will Champion Drive help enough these last 21 days?

If the Champion Drive isn't right and you don't think you can get away with the paylean try a Lindner's product called Tune N, it helps with muscle expression.

Actually I recommend High Octane Fitter 35. Champion Drive is fat cover neutral (doesn't add or remove fat). Fitter 35 will burn fat but it's a slow burn. It takes 10-14 days to get rolling. If the pig is soft or has fat around his head and neck, replace 2 lb of regular feed with 2 lb Fitter 35 for the final 14-21 days. The amount of days depends upon how much help the barrow needs.

Fitter 35 also firms up fat and puts more shape in muscle.
