Late July fair

Have a couple pigs weighing 160 currently and getting ~3lbs total of 19% grind n mix, 7% fat, with steam rolled oats. Target weight is 270 for both for late July fair(barrow and a gilt). Thoughts?

I assumed about 75 days to your weigh in which gives you about 1.46lbs per day gain. This will be tight. You need to get an idea of what you are gaining on your current feed program now to determine where you need to make adjustments.

You should separate your pigs now if they are not already. If that is not possible you need to feed them separately. You'll want to do any holding back now so you can push weight gain in the end.

Gaining about 1.6-1.7 on current feed program. Move in on the 7/29, weigh 7/31. Thoughts on feed program from here on

2 lbs powerfill and 2 lbs regular feed daily with 8-16 oz depth charge per day. Will gain 1.5lbs per day and look fresh come fair time.
