Purina Suggestions KGB?

Post by Mx4 » Tue Nov 21, 2017 11:16 am

I am fairly new and need some feed advice. We have a 80-90# pig that doesn’t have much of a top, he’s sound and looking good otherwise. I need to widen his front end and add a nice fat layer to his top. Is it too early to start working on that and adding supplements? If not, which Purina supplements are recommended?

Currently feeding 1.75# Linder 685 and 632, oats, and a tad of birth right milk- twice a day

Not sure there is a supplement to widen the front end...that is genetics. Do you need muscle up top or fat? A little too early to be putting on the fat, but High Octane Champion Drive from Purina is the product you are looking for.

Developing muscle pushes (or pulls) the Skelton apart. Adding Champion Drive to the total diet can help, but mostly it’s genetics. It’s worth trying. At this size feed 8 oz per day. Once the pig reaches about 150 lb increase to 1 lb per day.
