Trying to figure out a good daily number for weight gain. I have a gilt that's at 148 and I am feeding her 6 lbs a day. I also have a barrow that is at 141 and I am feeding him 5 lbs a day. There is 36 day until show.

Is there a minimum weight at the show?
For general reference, with normal healthy hogs, I use an average of 1.8 average daily gain. So figure an additional 65 pounds. Less shrink and travel loss, probably show weight is 190-200. Probably should be eating more feed to increase gains. Hope it helps.

No minimum, I was hoping to get them to 230-240 range but I will be happy at 200-215.

Recommend deworming them and increasing feed rate if possible to achieve target.
