Feeding muscle

Post by Teddyballgame047 » Thu Dec 21, 2017 6:49 pm

Went to a jackpot last weekend and the judge said our pig was good other than needing more muscle and top shape. We are currently feeding 2 pounds lindner 611, 1 pound lindner 698 slop, 2 oz. Full figure, 2 oz. Golden flo. 21 days until we show and weight is not an issue. What is the best feeding plan to go on from here?! Thank you!

I personally have used a product called Vitamin P (contains ractopamine) which I recommend to you. I have fed it with the 614 and not had any problems with tightness or any kind of fatigue/ abnormal agitation occurring with my hogs. I have also noticed that though the vitamins and minerals within the product prevent it from being too aggressive. If you can get your hands on it and get it in their system you can see a huge change in muscularity if timed right. The recommended dosage should be enough, if you read the label it will tell you. Since you feed lidner you should be able to get this product and it should help with topshape as well but i cant help on specifically targeting that area. I know that sunglo's product starglo will aid in adding topshape and a crisp look to your project. I have used it before and received massive results from it.

We use Champion Drive from Purina and Pig Navigator from Moorman's. I agree though, that paylean will be your best bet to increase muscle volume in a short period.
