Opinions...supplements?? Pics
Show mom here... this is our third year showing. We are handing feeding his year 6lbs per day. Want to be a little more competitive. We purchase our pigs from a local breeder. We are 54 days from show days. She’s been on sunglo 18% high fat. She currently weighs 168 with an ADG of 1.56. Would like her to to be around 265-270. I’m attaching a link to view pictures. In your opinion, would supplements would you add?

Overall your project looks nice and I think you are headed in the right direction. She looks to have solid structure, with good bone size, and muscle. If I were to change any non-feed things about her Id' like to see a little more extension out of her shoulders to her head, and a wider, stouter, hip to match her powerful front end.
Feed wise I would stay where you are at with the 18% and continue increasing the amount as long as she will clean it up. You need to get a belly on her and my favorite supplement for that is Purina Ultra Full. It targets that belly area and helps drop it. Sunglo makes a product called S'more Fill that might work in a similar fashion. These supplements would be in addition to trying to increase total feed consumption.
I would also add 4oz or so of Purina Champion Drive to help with top shape. Overall it's a really good product to help animals stay healthy and continue growing.
I think you should also plan to use Paylean (usually 2 weeks before show date). Sunglo's paylean product is called Explode. Make sure to follow the directions carefully. I would use the lower dosage recommendations for your pig. Paylean will burn fat and add muscle, which is why I recommend staying on the high fat feed. You'll have fat to burn without losing the fat cover your animal needs to be competitive. Paylean will make those muscles be more pronounced. Good luck!

Thank you for your feedback! I did find a local Purina dealer. With Ultra Full, is that something I should start now? I’m thinking so... product guide says to feed 8-32oz. What would you recommend for her?

Just realized Ultra Full is pelleted... her current feed is not. Do you foresee this being an issue?
Re: Opinions...supplements?? Pics
I would. My pigs will nose through the ground feed to get to the pellets. You could try crushing it so that it mixes correctly. Make sure you measure it out while still in pellet form and then crush. If it is already crushed, it will be concentrated and you can easily overfeed. Good luck.

I would start now at 4oz per feeding and work your way up (I usually top out at about 12oz per feeding). At this stage I would be wet/slop (adding water to the feed) feeding at which point mixing the 2 won't be an issue. Even if you continue to dry feed I think you'll be fine, but wet feeding usually encourages consumption.

Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately, the only dealer that carries Purina has to order these products. I have ordered both (Ultra Full and Champion drive) so will start when they come in next Thursday.

Where are you located? Or, you can go to Honorshowchow.com. Click on buy product or whatever they have put there now. Enter your 5 digit zip code and hit enter. It should bring up all the Purina dealers, with phone numbers and addresses in your area.

If I was feeding her based on the photos I would add MoorBody and champion drive.

@kbg I am located in Live Oak, FL (north Florida). There are a couple of dealers around my area but they do not keep these supplements in stock... so I had to order and now waiting for them to come in.
