I have a hamp gilt that 100lbs weigh in is on September 5 and I need her to gain 90 lbs! Currently feeding 809, 4 oz heavy weight and power fuel with a half of scoop of paylean. Any suggestions?
Thank you,

Re: Weight gain
That’s an 2.0 lb/day daily gain. What is she gaining now? Also why are you feeding Power Fuel and not 8 to 12 oz per day Heavy Weight? Calories drive growth. Heavy Weight ifs 70% fat and Power Fuel is 31% fat.

Re: Weight gain
She has average over 1 lb gain. I did increase the heavy weight to 12 oz. but I’m having. Hard time getting her to clean up 2 lbs at a time. She eats the top dress and leaves the feed.
Re: Weight gain
I was assuming that was total lbs per day. If you are still feeding Power Fuel and Heavy Weight that is a bunch of energy (calories). If you are feeding more than 12 oz per day Heavy Weight and or Power Fuel as well that can depress feed intake. (Pigs eat to meet their energy needs).
