I have a gilt that weighs 189# we are having a really hard time getting cover and condition on her. Right now she gets a little less then half a cup of Sumo, 2 pounds 14% Moormans twice daily and will not put a gut on for nothing. Need help!! ENMSF is in 33 days.
Those are not my products so I can’t advise how to feed them, but 4 lb per day is another enough for a pig that size. That is why you can’t get any “gut” on her.
What is your goal weight? Not sure why you are limiting your pig to only 4 lbs a day. That diet is deficient in Lysine and is not enough to finish out most show pigs. You need to feed way more. You pig weighs 189 lbs and has 33 days. If it gained 2.5 lbs a day it would be at 272 lbs in 33 days. If you feed 7 lbs a day of the feed plus the fat you should start seeing some results. Good luck.
Try High Octane Alleviate. 8 oz per day. Feed 3 oz with the morning feeding, 2 oz in the middle of the day, and 3 oz with the evening feeding.
