Add cover

Post by jstadelman » Wed Sep 04, 2019 11:22 pm

Our pig weighs in at fair in 7 days.. He weighs 290. Top weight for fair is 295, so we are holding. We are currently feeding powerfill and fitter 35. We would like to add a little cover if at all possible he looks good, but a little tight. Maybe not add the fitter 35? Not sure if it is too late to change up, especially at his weight. Thank you.

It is pretty late, and the High Octane Fitter 35 is designed for muscle and fat burning. So, Fitter 35 is working against adding fat cover. Pull the Fitter 35 out of the diet. And you might try this diet:

(TOTAL DAILY FEED; DIVIDE INTO 2 EQUAL MEALS):
High Octane Powerfill 2 1/2 lbs
High Octane Heavy Weight 1/2 lbs (8 oz)
High Octane Depth Charge 1/2 lbs (8 oz)

(Heavy Weight adds fat to the diet, and Depth Charge adds fill to the pig).

Thank you! Heading to feed right now, so will switch to your recommendation this morning.
