Lactation Feed Question

Currently I purchase a 15% protein complete feed that I use for all my pigs (gestation, lactation and feeders). I'm trying to decide if I should stick with this or order a different feed. I order 2 tons of ground feed at a time and have the ability to use that feed as a base to then add things and make small batches for each group of pigs. Am I better off sticking with the feed I have and adding soybean meal or other supplements to up the protein or is it easier to purchase a lactation feed and add corn to drop the protein?

What's your feed's Lysine and Fat?

My current feed is 0.85% lysine and 3% fat.

Personally, I think the Lysine is good, I like to have more fat than that in our Lactation feed, like 4% to 6%. I think you could bump down the Lysine for Gestation to around .6%, might be able to save some money.
