I have a gilt that is eating everything is sight and I have wormed her but she is not gaining any weight. She has started the last few days to look like she does not feel good but the appetite has not left. She has only gained 5 lbs. in the last 3 weeks and she is eating about 10 lbs per day of feed.

Can someone help!!!

how much does she weigh now. what wormer are you using and when did you worm.

I used atgard and she now weighs 175 lbs. I wormed about 2 weeks ago.

Atgard should sure have taken care of worms. Double check you gave enough and that she ate it.
If you want to be 100% sure give her a dose of one of the ivermectins.

Anything else would just be a guess without seeing her.

Thanks HogDoc. I am taking her to my Vet today to have him look at her. I am always trying to be safe with my animals. They are a precious resource we are entrusted with.

Found out she has a stomach issue and we gave her some pills and she has started to gain back. I also gave shot of Ivomec to insure she got a good worming.

What was her stomach issue and what pills did she get?

The mostly peoples feedback is that eating pig cause the increasing weight issues.

Can you let me know what the vet ever said? Please ...
