need help sick pig

Post by ddwil » Tue Sep 04, 2018 9:13 pm

I have a gilt that has thrown up a few times and it is yellowish liquid in color? She is not eating but still drinking and going to the bathroom. She is very lethargic. What may be causing this and what can I do to help her?

In my opinion you are probably dealing with either an ulcer or microtoxins in your feed. For an ulcer look up hog doc's ulcer protocol. For microtoxins i would have your feed tested and maybe switch to a different type of feed until feeling better.

I would also highly recommend looking at Doc probiotics. It helps the digestive system immensely. I have had great results with it
