Help help

Post by JDK » Sat Oct 20, 2018 4:26 pm

I’ve got a barrow and gilt that I can’t stop the diarrhea on. We have used safeguard, Spectagard, Baytril, Probios, Corid, and Dectomax. Both were bought from the same breeder. They are both eating well just not putting on weight like they should, and diarrhea has been going on for about 3 weeks since we brought them here. None of the other pigs in the barn have diarrhea. Any suggestions?

I would try Tylan. It is a pain because it is a twice a day shot but in this circumstance it would be worth it.

I had a similar issue with a gilt that I had tried everything on. I searched this forum and someone suggested trying Tylan (powder) and Acid Pak 4-way mixed in their water. Worked like a charm for me. Good luck!
