Hey guys, I currently have a gilt that’s getting alittle low on her pasterns. She weighs about 110 lbs and want to give bose a try. Has anybody had any experiences with it? And how much do y’all recommend me giving her.

Supplementing selenium will only help those pigs that have tendon structural abnormalities from being selenium deficient. (Mostly rapidly growing recently weaned pigs in areas where soils are selenium deficient.) It will not help pigs that are the result of deliberate selection for poor pastern structure. It's worth a try but the percentages of pigs that it helps are low. The dose is 1 cc per 40 lbs and it can be repeated in 14 days.

I got my hands on some, gonna give it a try. Just trying to get it to not get worse. Hopefully it’ll help. I’m gonna start on Monday with 2ccs. Somebody told me to give her 2ccs a week, do you recommend every 2 weeks? Also does it have a withdrawal?
