Lactic acid

Post by casper7285@gmail.com » Tue Jan 15, 2019 8:56 pm

So this is my first time here so I’m not sure what I can ask and can’t ask but nobody in this sells Lactanase and I’ve ordered it but it hasn’t came in. Does anyone have a suggestion for me on how to get rid of lactic acidin my pig? Thanks

We have a number of clients that have used lactanase when showing pigs and an increasing number using a similar product called lactilex mainly because it also comes in a paste form to ease administration.

We've mixed up a similar deal for a few years that has a few more active ingredients than alpha lipoid acid. It's not something we market broadly at this time but we may in the future.

I used lactanase and dextrose then used the lactilex. Both worked good. Lactilex was easier. First time I mixed the dextrose and lactanase I went a little heavy on the dextrose apparently. It was like trying to corral a 3 year old after 12 candy bars.
