Castration problem

Post by mict71 » Sun Feb 24, 2019 2:22 pm

I have castrated many pigs and this is the first time i run into this problem. I have one i can only find one testical. I was wondering if there is anything i can do other than call a vet. It would be the best pig we have. that is my luck. If anyone would have any tricks i would appreciate it.

We have had retained pigs a few times and always have taken them to our Vet that has more experience than me lol!!! They usually charge about $50..

Call you local County FFA or 4H agent and see if there are any other vets in the area who can do this. If the pig is not worth the $200 then I would say feed him out.
