We are new to showing pigs for 4-H, and for our daughters first year we opted to go with a breeder we knew...Not a show pig breeder. She agreed she wanted to get into it and learn some before spending $$$$ for a pig. Pigs are Chester White X Poland China cross, both parents are purebred. Pigs are eating 8-10 pounds a day, and drinking great. They are white pigs and the gilt's skin is pink and looks ribbed, the barrow skin seems better. both are dirty and needs a bath which we are working up to. My daughter is wanting to use the guilt for her fair pig. Our local supply stores are out of Noromectrin, and we have some coming today. they will get a dose this evening. My question is how long does it take to see a difference? Is there any other help for the pink skin or will it correct with the Noromectrin?
